Your Name - or Shop Name - This will appear as your blog post title *

What advice that you received as a shopkeeper or learned from trial and error - would you like to pass on to someone else? *
To be a successful Zazzler you must practice the three "P"'s.
Promote - Promote - Promote.
Promote your store every way that you can think of. I have been Zazzling for a little over a year. I have a (2) Facebook Pages, (3) Squidoo Lens, Twitter Page, Google Blog Page, Linked-In Page, and jump at the chance to get info out about my Zazzle Store anytime a fellow Zazzler does a blog or offers to help me promote my store. I still have a long way to go and really need to learn more about Squidoo Lens and Blogs. Overall I am very satisfied with my sales and Christmas 2010 was Totally Awesome.

How often do you add new products or designs? *
Every day
If you came into $100,000 tomorrow what would you do with it? *
Home Improvement.
I am on disability with emphysema so, I would just make my home a better place. I would keep on Zazzleing, cause it keeps my mind active and I really enjoy making designs that put a smile on peoples faces - whether they buy them or not. I have a good lady at my side and (5) Chihuahua Mix Babies that keep me company and are always making me laugh during the day.
What is the last product you added to your store? *
What would you do if you saw an actor on TV wearing one of your shirts, or one of your products on the set of a popular Tv show or movie? *
The first thing - I would (Dish DVR) rewind the program and then record it, so I could save it. Next I would start making phone calls or get on the web to get permission to use the image/person for promotion purposes. Being able to promote that some famous actor or TV Show bought and wears/displays an item that I designed - "Priceless". Once I got Permission (Hopefully) I would be spreading the word through the World Wide Web.
Do you have any formal art or computer training? *
No, I taught myself
What programs do you use to create your designs? What do you like about them? *

I started out using Photobucket, but found it too limiting. I then tried (Free Version) Tux Paint and Serif Draw Plus 8 Software.
The Serif Drawing Software is the best I have come across so far.
I invested $40.00 in Serif Draw X3 software a year ago and I really like it.
I have just invested another $40.00 to upgrade to Serif Draw X4 software and am waiting for it to arrive in the mail.
Serif Software is very easy to learn and I still am finding things I can do with it that I didn't know. There are free clip art drawings that you can use (royalty free) and change up to your liking or leave as is. The colors, brushes and fonts seem to be endless, at least to me. Highly Recommend and worth the investment.
I just bought a Graphics Tablet that I am learning how to use.

Other than your own shop(s) - what 1 shop on zazzle created by someone else, is your absolute favorite? *

  1. Great interview. I wondered what software Big Guy used for his 3D.
