Your Name - or Shop Name - This will appear as your blog post title *
runninragged
What advice that you received as a shopkeeper or learned from trial and error - would you like to pass on to someone else? *
The first thing I learned from trial and error was to make sure my products were at a high enough dpi/ppi! After my first sell, I stressed out over the quality because I didn't realize this at first; but the sale went through just fine and so have many others! The second thing I learned was to use that little magnifying tool at the top corner when creating a product often to be sure of placement and check for errors! Check for typos, and have fun with it!
How often do you add new products or designs? *
Several times per month
If you came into $100,000 tomorrow what would you do with it? *
Well, what I'd want to do with it, and what I'd actually do are two different things! I'd probably indulge in a nice vacation; maybe take my dream vacation to Ireland, then entrust it to my ever so knowledgeable husband to invest it.
What is the last product you added to your store? *
What would you do if you saw an actor on TV wearing one of your shirts, or one of your products on the set of a popular Tv show or movie? *
There would be lots of screaming. And probably fainting. A few phone calls, more screaming... You get the idea...
Do you have any formal art or computer training? *
No, I taught myself
What programs do you use to create your designs? What do you like about them? *
Right now I use Artrage and Corel Draw. I love the realistic feel to sketching in Corel Draw and the fact that I can edit and paint over my photography. Artrage is simple and easy to use and I've used it for most of my stuff. I'd love to get a Photoshop or Paintshop Pro in the near future so I can broaden my range.
Other than your own shop(s) - what 1 shop on zazzle created by someone else, is your absolute favorite? *
