How do you create/edit the designs you place for sale on zazzle? * |
|
What is the most important thing you have learned since starting on zazzle? * | If the design is pretty, don't waste your time wondering if anyone will actually buy it. The day that one great customer bought a set of stickers featuring rhubarb sprouts emerging from the soil in early spring (looking like little red and green brains) was the day that I stopped trying to second guess the customer. Now I just focus on making really great designs and leave the shopping to the customers. |
Do you consider yourself an Artist selling art, or a Business person selling products which happen to be art? * | Both - every product contains art, even if it is not in my taste I will offer it for sale, since that is what the customers want |
What do you enjoy most about zazzle? * | Being able to market my art directly to the customer, and on such a fantastic variety of product too! |
When working on zazzle you... * | need complete silence to concentrate |
What is your favorite thing to do when not Zazzling? * | Zazzle some more! And think about new design ideas, shoot more photos, draw more. I also spend a lot of time in the garden getting my flowers ready for the next photo shoot. Of course, there's also a bunch of farm chores to fill any remaining time. |
What promotion do you use? * |

This blog will feature interviews by POD Shopkeepers. A set of questions will be posed to each featured shopkeeper, with variation to ensure we get to know something special about each shopkeeper! Shopkeepers are asked to have fun when answering, so come back each week and see what exciting things they have to say!
